RTI Barge Management operates a modern fleet of close to 90 carriers as part of our dry bulk shipping business and has routes on the lower Mississippi and Arkansas Rivers to the greater New Orleans area. Our objective is to manage barges that operate in the dry cargo markets.

RTI Barge Management is a family-owned and operated barge management business. Rick Huskey, the owner and President, brings more than 30 years of experience to the company. Rick’s personal integrity, high ethical standards and use of sound business principles serve as the foundation of our company. Rick has previously worked in grain merchandising, boat operations, fleet operations, barge maintenance, barge operations, barge management, and barge ownership.
In 2011, the next generation of our family, Sarah Roberson joined RTI and focuses her time and talent in dispatch and freight sales. Sarah’s commitment to a high standard of customer satisfaction and service is what separates us from other cargo transportation companies.
We are very fortunate to have knowledgeable, dedicated, and talented employees who are truly interested in providing the best service to our customers. Emily Truran joined RTI in 2015. Emily’s skills have proven to be valuable in taking care of RTI’s accounts payable, accounts receivables, and monthly reporting. She strives to provide quality customer service to our internal and external customers while being efficient in the financial department.
